Exhibition Information

From November 3, 2000 to February 18, 2001 the National Museum of Antiquities (RMO) in Leiden presents the unique exhibition Pharaohs of the Sun: Akhenaten, Nefertiti, Tutankhamen.

A total of 226 objects from 33 museums from all over the world brings the sensational 'Amarna' period to life.

The exhibition was initially organised by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The majority of the items in that exhibition are being brought to Leiden, where additional material from RMO collections from the tombs of Maya & Meryt and Horemheb will be added.
